Retreat 2. - 5. January 2025
‘Everything has a rhythm’
Everything in life has its particular rhythm.
Your breath, your heartbeat, your thoughts, your feelings. The raindrops, the wind, the snowflakes, the clouds, the sun, the plants, the animals, the stars, the dust collecting in the corner of your room, boiling water, washing your clothes…
The earth revolves around the sun in 365 days, 6 hours and 9 minutes at a speed ranging from 29.29 to 30.29 km/s.
How many hours do you like to sleep at night? How long do you brush your teeth? How much time do you like to spend day dreaming? Do you also put that in your calendar? Do you have a calendar?
Sometimes we feel life moves too slowly,
we feel stuck or like someone has pressed the pause button.
Other times we feel the days fly by, everything happens at once and we can hardly process all the moments that we’re experiencing.
Truly every moment has its rhythm,
and the more we pay attention,
the more we will understand how to
observe, indulge, shift, shape or play along with each present moment.
In this retreat we will take the time to reflect upon the year 2024 and discover what rhythm of life we were experiencing. We’ll spend time setting our intentions for what kind of melodies we’d like to move along with in the year 2025.
We will spend these four days at the beautiful and cosy @die___tischlerei ’, a place that inspires calmness, creativity and community, nested next to a forrest in the beautiful Steiermark.
We will be accompanied by our cook & gardener @anna__zora , who works with flowers, herbs and plants and will nourish us with delicious organic, regional and seasonal food (where possible).
